xDrive40i

The BMW X7 begins at such a luxurious starting point, it might seem like an easy choice going with the base trim level. At the heart of the xDrive40i, you will find a 3.0-liter, 335-horsepower BMW TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine (I6) which combines a twin-scroll turbocharger with variable valve control (VVC) and high-precision direct injection. This engine also features auto start-stop and electronically-controlled engine cooling to maximize fuel economy. As its name suggests, this trim comes standard with the xDrive All-Wheel Drive, along with two-axle self-leveling air suspension, all of which maintain optimal traction and a smooth drive no matter how the roads might get in Lancaster.

xDrive50i

The xDrive50i makes a few tweaks to performance and luxury, with standard Vernasca leather on the inside and an upgraded powertrain. Now, underneath the hood, we see a 4.4-liter, 456-horsepower V-8 engine, which launches from zero to 60 mph in about five seconds. This engine comes with all of the same performance enhancements of its predecessor, in order to smoothen the ride and maximize control across all driving conditions. The xDrive50i, like its predecessor, features an eight-speed Sport Automatic transmission with Sport and Manual Shift Models and Driving Dynamics Control with multiple driving settings. Along with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters, this transmission  gives you a drive you can customize to your own preferences.

M50i

Sun Motor Cars BMW proudly welcomes this new trim to the X7 lineup, which cranks up the performance of this SAV to the maximum. The standard driving equipment of the M50i includes upgraded brakes and a special sport-tuned suspension for racecar-type thrills as you cruise through Carlisle. Underneath the hood of this high-performance trim, drivers will find a 4.4-liter BMW M Performance TwinPower Turbo V-8 engine which cranks out an exceptional 523 horsepower. The M Performance engine also comes equipped with a special exhaust system and an M Sport Differential. If you want to boost the entertainment value of your SAV as well, you will love the standard Harman Kardon®16-speaker surround sound system with vehicle-specific equalizing and a 464-watt amplifier.
